  “This review is in continuation some work C&T did on an engine starting early last year. If you want to save time and money - and deal with owners who care about you and stand behind work they do GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!!
  In getting up to speed you can find my previous review on google, but this engine they agreed to work on was a High Performance Ford 427 Side Oiler. It needed all 8 sleeves, they said they could do it and get it back to STD bore. Well they did I thought until I tried to start it... #3 cylinder ALWAYS filled with Water, you couldn't even crank it over, just turning it by hand, it would spill coolant from the header- this engine NEVER STARTED after coming home from C&T. I changed the intake twice and head gaskets, along with Pass. side head (they rebuilt for me) but again filled with water, engine in and out of the car 3X and costing me around $2000. finally I dropped it back off and said (somethings not right) water is present always in #3...
  Come to find out after ALL this time, 9 months and $2000 dollars they pressure tested there own work- and I had leaks at he deck where sleeves were installed. I asked dont you check for this stuff, how could this have been missed? we usually don't check - cause we never have problems doing this said an owner.. Great I thought- this could have all be avoided if they'd just checked their own work!!! Secondly, they cut #3 sleeve out and I learned what they ALWAYS NEW- and that is that they sleeved a sleeve in the 3rd cylinder... That alone is a BIG NO, NO from all who I've been able to talk to, about the subject. It's not a good practice- and from the owners I was told LA Sleeved walked us through on how to do it- really I thought so I called Dave at LA Sleeve and he flipped his lid and said NO THAT'S BULL id never tell anyone to do that, I won't even repeat the words to you over the phone why would I put my business on the line, saying such things, NEVER do it! I was then told by another owner of C&T after confronting them, that I was talked to about this and the plan to do such a thing...? NO way sorry, for one the shop worker owner is NOT a guy of many words- and to say I knew about this and what they did. contradicts me spending 9 months and $2000 trying to find out this crap work I knew about... A LIE!!!
  So in the end, I wasted 1 year- and $5135 dollars with C&T and have a block, let alone an engine that still doesn't run and has never run after they worked on it. I went in to talk about my situation and they, the C&T owners, basically ganged up on me and told me it was my fault for bringing an engine in to be fixed- but is not this the reason behind a machine shop, to make engines run new again, that come in not running or needing help? If you cant' do the job dont take it on or take peoples money and then blame them for choosing you as a shop and still offer no money in return for service that rendered NO RESULTS...
  
  Again, they don't like my reviews but it' s all I have as a consumer to help warm others of the kind of business they are. they dont' stand behind their work THAT'S FOR SURE, save time and money and find another shop for high performance work- I wish I had...”
