Lueder Service Center
Charged $1600 for not fixing my truck?
“I took my bucket truck in to Lueder in late June of this year to have some repairs done to the hydraulic system. It was there about a week. Almost $1,600 later (primarily labor according to the invoice) I was told my truck was repaired and working properly. I hadn't used it 2 hours on a job and found the same issues were present. They sent out a mechanic and he told me I needed to do some things to the electrical system wiring in terms of connections (why he didn't do it was a mystery to me) that the hydraulic tank was too full of fluid (which they changed) and that I needed to drain some of it. When I opened up the controller box to repair the wiring (not sure why they didn't do it) I found it was dirty, had pieces of bare wiring laying around inside crossing connections (which was causing my intermittent problems from the basket) and so I cleaned it all out with compressed air and redid the wiring connections. I called the receptionist Heather and expressed my concerns and all she said was that they were working on their service... no partial refund, no offer to resolve the issues, etc. I took a day off work and did their job for them on my truck. As far as I'm concerned, Lueder stole most of my money.”
